Day 4: Agra sightseeing

We see one of the 7 wonders of the world the stunning Taj and massive Agra fort

Taj Mahal: The evergreen Taj Mahal is one of the most wonderful monuments built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his much-loved wife. It is great to see that the monument takes on different coloring at different times of the day, from a rose-colored pink in the morning, glowing white in the evening and golden at night when lit by the moon. They say the changing color resembles the changing mood of the Emperor's queen. But it is a sad part of its history that Shah Jahan was not permitted to enter it during the final years of his life.

Agra Fort: This magnificent structure is built in red sandstone and was built primarily as a military structure by Akbar but was later transformed into a palace by his son, Shah Jahan who was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb for eight years in the octagonal tower, ‘Mussaman Burj’ of the fort where he died.

After exploring major spots we begin back trip to Jaipur for drop at a preferred location.
