Day 1: Temple visit

We reach Salasar Balaji and offer prayers at the divine temple. The temple has the facility to manage the stay of the tourists. Places of comfortable stay are also present nearby.

Salasar Balaji Temple: It is said that the sacred God appeared at a place in Rajasthan with a miracle and villagers built the temple in Salasar in 1754 AD. At Salasar the face of lord hanuman is unique because it is round with moustache and beard. People say drinking water of the wells of this place is due to the blessings of Balaji.


An interesting story is attached with the architecture of this amazing temple. Initially, the founder constructed a mud-stone temple with the assistance of Muslim craftsmen. It was later advanced into a concrete temple. High-quality sculptures can be seen here.

Visitors also come to this place to participate in some rituals. The most extensively followed ritual at this temple is the tying of coconuts with sacred threads by the devotees. It is done with the great faith as devotees believe their all wishes will be fulfilled by this ritual. Night Rest


Day 2: Tal Chappar sanctuary

Earlier, Tal Chappar sanctuary was the private hunting reserve of the Kings of Bikaner. Situated at 40 km from Salasar Balaji, it is a huge sanctuary with rich flora and fauna. The sanctuary is famous for black-bucks. It is a home to nearly 1700 Black Bucks and it is the only sanctuary in India in which is having a large number of blackbucks in an almost tree-less and flat-land. The sanctuary comes alive with the chirping of various migratory birds which visit the place from Magnolia, Siberia, Tajikistan and central Asia.


After exploring major spots we begin back trip to Agra for drop at preferred location.
